Food is one of our health determinants, because the disease often caused by the foods we eat. The more quality food that we eat (in terms of nutritional content in food), the lower the risk we are exposed to a disease. The quality of food depends on the food ingredients used.

Apart from quality materials, of course, how to cook well in a healthy way. Because of the processing of food, healthy food can be health backfired. To get the perfect result in the intake of food processing is useful for health, basic knowledge is needed about the pros and cons various food processing methods.

The best material for vegetables and fruits are grown organically (without pesticides). Fruits and vegetables of this kind can be found easily in supermarkets. Choose the freshest meat. Avoid meat that is bluish in color, let alone who was issued a foul smell. For the selection of fish, choose the freshest fish, as well as with chicken. Although not a guarantee, a fresh meat is free from bacteria and germs, with proper treatment, the volume of bacteria and germs in the meat can be reduced. At least there is no process of decomposition that contains germs and bacteria are far more dangerous to health.
Here are a few healthy foods:
  1. Source of antioxidants and carotenoids Source: sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, mangoes, spinach.
  2. Source of vitamin E: asparagus, bean sprouts, vegetable oil and beans.
  3. Source of vitamin C: cassava leaves, mangoes, oranges, broccoli, mustard greens and guava.
  4. Source of omega-3 fatty acids: various kinds of sea fish (anchovies, sardines) and fish oil.
  5. Source of folic acid: Beans (green beans, red beans, and peas), original orange, spinach and chicken liver.
  6. Source of vitamin B6: Bananas, chicken without the fat, brown rice, oatmeal, and canned white tuna.
  7. Source flanovoid: Melons, grapes, oranges, papaya, mango, persimmon and guava.
By knowing the healthy food and how to cultivate a healthy way also we can make healthy foods that will help maintain the health of our bodies.
